„Klangkörper in der Arena“ is a proposal for a temporary utilisation of the historical ABO AG – Omnibus hall as a venue for the performances of the Berlin opera house Staatsoper unter den Linden. Preserving the large open space and combining the industrial character of the large hall with the functionalities of an opera house is the actual spatial theme of the structure. The unique mixture of spacial structures offers an extraordinary Berlin specific experience to the visitors.
