Berlin 2006

Transformation of a listed bridge into a hotel with a capacity of 60 rooms situated in the centre of Berlin. Guestrooms and facility rooms will be lined up within the structure of the bridge, thus maintaining the industrial character framework disclosed, giving the hotel a unique feature. An extention of the the room capacity of the hotel on the adjoining site embracing some 45 rooms is a further option. Moreover, the adjacent bridge could be converted into a green pedestrian zone – forming the missing link between the Park at Nordbahnhof and the Humboldthain Park.
